Responsibilities 职责:

Pipeline Development:

  • Develop new customers and applications leveraging Celanese Medical and pharma portfolio
  • Responsible for defining the value proposition for each given customer and application
  • Provide support and input for R&D’s IP strategy and technology road map strategy
  • Translate successes in known spaces across form factors and therapy areas.
  • Provides support for design, molding, CAE etc internally and to design houses, OEMs, molders
  • Introduce new products to customers as they are developed, and partner with marketing and global FDEs and KAMs in communicating the associated value of the new product

Value Capture:

  • Contributes to gathering business intelligence e.g. pricing, competitive data, out-of-kind competition
  • Develops/leverages an external network of subject matter experts and key opinion leaders
  • Develops and leads customer engagement activities
  • Develops and communicates product value propositions

Account Planning and Management:

  • Acts as the primary commercial interface at Pharmaceutical OEMs, Medical device companies, CDMOs, and CROs, design houses and Tiers/molders
  • Responsible for forecasting and delivering revenue at owned customer accounts.
  • Engages with cross functional team to execute on our growth strategy for Long-acting-dosage forms and medical devices
  • Partners with Marketing team and global key account managers in account planning, relationship development, and general account maintenance
  • Drives commercial negotiations for joint development, supply for clinical trials, supply for commercial products writing customer account plans for all assigned customers
  • Conducts general account activities such as customer visits, call reports, sampling, and activation of supportive functions within Celanese

 

Qualifications 要求:

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • 10+ years’ experience in a business development capacity focused on the Pharmaceutical Industry, combination devices, or related medical devices
  • BSC in Science or Engineering, preferably related to one of the Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering
  • Strong experience with consultative and strategic selling principles, developing and leading customer engagement activities
  • Proven ability to sell based on enabling technology and product concepts
  • Proven ability to translate industry mega-trends into actionable insights
  • Deep knowledge of the preclinical and clinical development cycle in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry
  • Experienced in engaging with formulators, CMC leaders, and other members of drug- and drug delivery development teams at pharmaceutical companies
  • Experience developing and selling in the full Pharmaceutical and medical device value chain (Branded Companies, CDMOs, CROs, design houses, tiers, molders)
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical and combination device regulatory landscape
  • Proven implementation of successful voice-of-customer activities

  • Excellent selling skills to build and strengthen customer relationship
  • Good coordination and follow up skills
  • Collaborates, plans and aligns: with other functions/stakeholders
  • Intimacy and dealing with multiple levels and functions at customer (not sourcing only)
  • Experience selling differentiated value propositions
  • Worked in companies with strong result orientation and systematic approach to account managementl
  • Ability to travel 40-75% of time as work demands
