Responsible for the installation, repair, modifications and preventive maintenance of process analysers and portable analysers that are used for safety and shutdown control, personnel monitoring, environmental monitoring, product quality and unit efficiency.
Perform preventative maintenance such as calibration of process analyzers, hardware replacement and spare parts support and keeping gas and liquid calibration standards current
Improve existing sample systems including optimizing electronic circuitry, cooling, heating, filtering or gas/liquid separation
Repair critical equipment on emergency basis, start-up coverage, inclement weather coverage, holiday, weekend and call out coverage and troubleshooting special causes
Documentation (written and PC based record keeping) including: loopfiles which contain electrical and electronic schematics, sample drawings, maintenance logs and calibration and inspection records to comply with ISO 9000.
Contact equipment and analyzer vendors to: resolve operational problems, implement additions and deletions to the warehouse stock of spare parts.

Minimum 5 years of petrochemical plant experience in process analyzer maintenance.
Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent. with on the job training in Basic electricity, electronics, chemistry, test equipment usage.
