• Management and cooperate with customs release & freight forwarders/agents to ensure safe on time delivery to customer for ocean liner and air; • Prepare correlative documents for customs release; • Work with planning, scheduling, procurement oprations, logistics team to coordinate any import/export related issues;
• Track and trace shipments;
• Ensure adherence to all SOP’s and controls related to Safety and Compliance;
• Set up and maintenance the import & export materials HS code to ensure apply to customs;
• Ensure that the escalation process to leads, regional experts and plant personnel is adhered to when unforeseen delays occur that may result in a late delivery to a customer;
• Manage exceptions and emergency situations;
• Track the desk metrics defined for on time shipping and on time delivery and provide a root cause analysis and corrective action plan for those falling outside of the allowable tolerances;
• Freight invoice processing and solve freight invoice discrepancy;
• Assist with the investigation of quality failures and the development of preventive and corrective actions to prevent future re-occurrences. Execute SAP quality notification transactions for all process failures to align with quality assurance expectations;
• Assist in contingency planning (e.g., power outage, SAP outage) and special incidents (hurricane and inclement weather preparation, plant outage)
• Experience in export & import operations;
• Knowledge of international trading and logistics best practices;
• Familiar with the process and procedures of international trade, policies and local codes of customs clearance;
• Willingness to work closely with your counterparts in other regions;
• Strong coordinating skills;
• Good written and oral communication skills of English;
• 3 years above working experience;
• B.S. or above
