Responsibilities 职责:

IT Manager – Digital Plant and Custom Applications Development

is responsible for providing IT systems and people leadership through expertise, knowledge, development, and support of manufacturing software solutions.  Primary systems and teams this development manager is responsible for are Celanese’ preferred Digital Plant solution Cognite Data Fusion, Celanese’ global SAP MII landscape, Celanese global TrakSYS MES/OEE Application, a limited number of custom .Net manufacturing applications, and process data historian platforms (OSI Pi and Aspen Tech IP21).

 

The ideal candidate will have experience leading and managing software support and development teams in the Cognite Data Fusion platform.  This position will require close collaboration with external system vendors and support contractors, internal IT and OT leaders, as well as site manufacturing and technology experts.   

Qualifications 要求:

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • 5+ years of professional experience with the implementation, management, configuration and support of IT software systems and teams.
  • Capable of managing, leading and coordinating the workload of teams during project delivery and support.
  • Fluent in the use of Python scripting language
  • Database technologies such as SQL and Oracle
  • Working knowledge of MS .Net technologies
  • Strong data analytics skills and experience working with data technologies or processes such as ETL
  • Able to provide local leadership for an IT team of ~30 and provide strategic linkage and communication to global IT leadership in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
  • Comfortable managing small teams of experts in multiple areas or software platforms
  • Knowledge of the functions and operation of technology with an emphasis on applications and services that are close-coupled to manufacturing.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into functional IT solutions
  • Strong ability to learn new software technologies and platforms

 

 Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Working knowledge of the Cognite’s Data Fusion platform highly beneficial
  • Proven ability to manage and grow people across multiple focus areas
  • Experience working with manufacturing software systems
  • Experience working with SAP MII platform
  • Familiar with concepts of data acquisition and machine industrial control systems, including OPC protocols and data process historians
  • Experience working with cloud technologies including Azure and VM containers
  • Familiar with Agile methodology
