Overview:

Candidate will be responsible for the development and support of new and existing MES applications that are primarily used by manufacturing personnel.  The idea candidate will have experience working for a global chemical manufacturing company with extensive .Net development knowledge and familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems, primarily the Parsec TrakSYS platform.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, enhance and support TrakSYS .NET based MES applications across a global implementation footprint.
• Interface with business owners, project managers, and other IT teams as needed.
• Available to provide remote application support with flexible working hours.
• Able to understand business functional requirements and their resulting technical specifications
• Conversion of technical specifications into usable code
• Capable of designing new enhancements, implementations & trouble shooting business critical real-time applications.

Skills Required:

• 3+ years of experience developing and supporting MS .Net C#, Java Script, HTML5, XML, SQL Server (queries, stored procedures), web services, and related technologies
• Working knowledge of Team Foundation Server
• Familiar with integrated software systems used in manufacturing environments, such as manufacturing execution systems, process data historians, OPC connectivity to control systems or other machine hardware
• Experience with SAP ERP module integration using IDOCs, RFCs
• Good understanding of software design methodologies and implementation practices.
• Experience in problem and incident management.
• Excellent verbal and written skills to communicate with a global customer base and other IT teams

Skills Desired:

• Experience in TrakSYS MES implementation and support is a strong plus

• Experience in configuring, deploying, and supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems
• Familiar with support ticket management using ServiceNow

• Experience with HMI, SCADA, OPC and PLC connectivity
• Familiar with process data historian platforms such as AVEVA PI or Aspen IP.21
• Familiar with SAP MII platform
