Primary area of responsibility is Rotating Equipment Reliability, Maintenance and Capex Projects. Provide technical subject matter expertise for Reliability Improvement of Rotating Equipment. Provide troubleshooting support and engineering solutions for rotating equipment related problems that affects the plant operations. Analyze preventive and predictive maintenance programs and implement rectification actions. Effective utilization of non-destructive testing methodologies to detect and eliminate inherent reliability issues with rotating machinery. Periodic MTBF reporting, Bad Actors monitoring and Lead RCA Level A and B to prevent failure recurrence. Review and grade RCA-C performed by technicians related to reliability and suggest action plan. Lead RCM for Rotating Equipment and implement effective Reliability Improvement Strategies. Execute capital projects for site based on past failures and recurring issues. Ensure adherence to Mechanical Integrity procedures for rotating equipment maintenance and reliability improvement. Execute Turnaround jobs pertaining to Rotating Equipment Reliability and meet all the TA - KPIs. Develop sustainable and viable solutions in area of expertise and drive productivity programs. Review warehouse inventory and optimize spare parts based on equipment criticality ranking. Participate and support the Site Safety, Quality and Reliability Programs. Mentor the team members in areas of technical expertise related to Static Equipment Reliability.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering 8+ Years of experience as Rotating Equipment Engineer in Refinery, Chemical or Petrochemical Industries Knowledge of manufacturing plant processes and experience with rotating equipment is strongly preferred Knowledge of equipment criticality assessment, maintenance strategies, RCA, Bad Actor identifications and life cycle cost analysis (LCCA) Experience with preventive and predictive techniques to improve equipment surveillance program Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities Effective communication and written skills with ability to communicate internally and externally with all levels of the organization Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a team based environment Strong safety champion who will lead in achieving zero incidents and injuries Self-motivated with ability to originate and adapt to new ideas Good meeting facilitation and presentation skills Knowledge of Standard Engineering Practices and Standard Maintenance Procedures Knowledge of industry equipment and process safety standards Knowledge of API and ASME Codes and Standards required Working knowledge of Emerson CSI2130/CSI2140 Vibration Monitoring and AMS Machinery Health Manager System. ISO Cat 2 Vibration Certification with Vibration Analysis skills required. Working knowledge of SAP is required Strong computer skills Team building and networking skills
