Job Description
The Sr SAP Basis Lead will provide leadership over the day-to-day operations of the IT SAP System Administration Team. They will be responsible for systems level management of SAP Applications and Database Management, and will lead and support strategic and IT projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepares technical project plans and milestones in alignment with the company release calendar.
- Works in collaboration with the SAP Basis Leadership team to design and develop SAP architecture requirements and specifications to ensure the system is meeting corporate needs.
- Provides leadership on SAP Basis systems including establishing standards and requirements, evaluating and directing enhancements, and guiding systems design, configuration and implementation.
- Manages and leads technical changes in the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability and performance of each SAP instance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 8 + years of experience in SAP Basis technical administration
- Experience leading the architecture of large-scale, complex hybrid ERP systems
- Expert level knowledge of the following SAP Functional Areas: S/4HANA, Ariba, IBP/SCM, HANA, PI/PO, BW, BI, ABAP, JAVA Stack, ECC, GTS, GRC, Fiori, Solution Manager, CHARM, Portal, HR, Redwood.
- Experience in managing SAP on MS Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
- Deep technical knowledge of the relevant part(s) of the SAP infrastructure, Linux/Windows operating environment and HANA, DB2 & SQL databases.
- Experience working on concurrent complex technical projects
- Experience working with System Integrators and managing remote teams.
- Excellent English verbal and writing skills with capability to translate information into business impact
