• Provide maintenance support to the safe, profitable and reliable plant operation by planning and scheduling of maintenance services
• You will be in charge of the plant routine maintenance planning. Ensure that routine maintenance metrics are adhered in line with best in class performance practices like schedule compliance, percentage interrupts and PPM execution.
• Plan and monitor turn around work process to ensure successful completion of plant turn arounds within schedule, within budget and with zero incidents.
• You will champion safe work practices and support contractor safety programs including preparation of Risk Assessment for maintenance tasks.
• You may be required to support the day to day maintenance needs as required by the plant operation
• Drive RM work process and turn around work process to effectively plan and schedule to achieve best in class results
• Create new Equipment number in SAP and associated PPM as per request.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Required Yrs Exp: Minimum 3 years as maintenance planner in the petrochemical, chemical or refinery industry
• Required Education: Minimum Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• In depth knowledge of planned maintenance principles and ability to identify, organize and prioritize data and activities to ensure an optimum planned maintenance program
• Familiar with the plant equipment, maintenance needs and frequent maintenance issues
• Conversant with SAP R/3 for the PM module
• Conversant with MS project
• Experience in planning and material coordination
Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Detailed knowledge of maintenance activities with job steps, duration and skills required
• Networks well with the vendors / contractors to gain support
• Knowledge in developing Risk assessment for maintenance jobs
• Experience in project planning
