Demonstrates support for the vision of excellence in safety, health, environment protection, quality and compliance with the BCP and China regulation requirements;
•Protect the environment, implement the company's environmental policy, participate in the formulation of the environmental goals of the Nanjing factory and continue to improve the company's environmental management, and be responsible for formulating the work development plan of the environmental department
•Responsible for assuring compliance with applicable EHS regulations and corporate policies and maintaining compliance assurance systems;
•Responsible for maintaining, improving, and implementing site EHS policies and procedures;
•Responsible for verifying effectiveness of corrective action plans resulting from incidents, near misses, and audits;
•Responsible for providing leadership to improve site employee safety engagement and EHS culture ;
•Responsible for maintaining site emergency preparedness;
•Responsible for assessment of site EHS performance and development of site EHS strategic plans;
•Networking and communication with Celanese EHS leaders external to the site to share best practices and participate in the development of corporate programs and policies;
•Possess broad working knowledge and industrial experience with EHS programs and elements in the chemical process industry;
•Expertise in China EHS regulatory requirements;
•Good communication and human relation skills;
•Experience working with people of diverse backgrounds;
•Experience developing policies, procedures and guidelines;
•Ability to develop others;
•Good oral and written English;
• Majored in Chemical engineering or safety related engineer
• State registered safety engineer or State medium-grade professional title engineer
• Preferred the background of experience in both international and state companies
