• Develop and improve the EHS management system and engage all people to build a mature EHS culture.
• Provide the leadership to maintain safe, healthy, effective working environment and best practices.
• Ensure legal requirements in terms of Health, Safety are established and complied 100%.
• Evaluate facility EHS conditions, assess risks and develop appropriate corrective-action plans to address deficiencies in comparison to regulations and policies.
• Responsible for maintaining site emergency response plan.
• Responsible for cooperating the ESH audit from both internal and external. Driving the follow up actions.
• Conduct investigation with site personnel for any significant ESH events like near misses, injuries, spills, and security incidents, via root cause analysis.
• A site resource to support operations , maintenance, and projects execution.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Bachelor degree or above in EHS or related discipline.
• Minimum 5-years EHS experience, multinational company is a plus.
• Ability to drive safety engagement meetings.
• Expertise in China EHS regulatory requirements.
• Certified Safety Engineer or related.
• High sense of safety, responsibility, and confidentiality.
• Integrity and professional ethics.
• Strong Leadership and good team spirit.
• Proficiency in Microsoft software such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Fluent in English writing and speaking.
