SAP Security Specialist

Reporting to the global SAP Security lead this person / position will be based out of Celanese’s service center in Hyderabad/India and responsible to support any SAP Security maintenance activities and the SAP User provisioning process through SAP GRC Access Control. In addition the candidate will be a key resource to support business projects.

The successful candidate should have strong knowledge about SAP Security authorization concept overall to be responsible for the day-to-day SAP Security maintenance work like Task and Business Role maintenance across SAP landscape. In addition the candidate will support the GRC Access Control modules Access Request Management, Emergency Access Management (Fire Fighter) and Access Risk Analysis.

Purpose and Summary of position:

• Responsible for SAP role maintenance activities across all SAP systems (ABAP + Fiori)
• Support overall Fire Fighter process
• Overseeing User Provisioning process through GRC AC
• Assure SAP security configuration compliance with standards and SOX controls
• Knowledge sharing and interaction with other teams like Basis, Security PPR’s, Role Owners
• Experience in troubleshooting approaches and technical skills to conduct root cause analysis
• Document Celanese processes, security design, security standards
• Perform manual control reporting
• Support regular Support Pack/Refresh activities and Business projects

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:                  

• Must have a minimum of 6 years’ experience in SAP GRC AC and SAP Security in a large SAP environment
• Solid knowledge in SAP S/4 HANA and Fiori
• Proficient with SAP security administration tools, SAP authorization concept
• Experience in troubleshooting approaches and technical skills to conduct root cause analysis
• Demonstrated deep understanding of application-level security, at a functional and transaction level
• Excellent communication skills to align across multiple and global teams
• Fluent English
