Reporting to the global SAP Security lead this person / position will be based out of Celanese’s service center in Hyderabad/India and responsible to maintain control frameworks by conducting SAP Security SOX and compensation control activities and remain observant to all compliance directives required by Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) or any Audit requirements.

The successful candidate will have the ability to execute day-to-day monitoring and execution of the required IT Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal controls and processes such as  SAP GRC Access Control - Access Risk Analysis (ARA) module and SOD remediation/mitigation. In addition this candidate should have strong knowledge about SAP Security overall and SAP role concepts. It is key to maintain effective relationships with Compliance team as well as internal and external Audit.

Responsibilities

 Purpose and Summary of position:

• Responsible for executing the required IT SAP Security Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) internal controls and processes
• Maintain and support SAP GRC Access Control - Access Risk Analysis (ARA) module
• Working closely with risk owners on SOD risk remediation/mitigation
• Responsible to provide metrics on SOD status and SAP Security related compliance and process documentation
• Engage directly with Compliance team and internal and external Audit
• Ensure SAP GRC ruleset accuracy in alignment with functional risk owners and compliance team
• Will support Asia region projects along with other team members
• Work with internal/external partners to drive improvement/automation of compliance processes

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:                  

• Must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in SAP GRC AC and SAP Security in a large SAP environment (SAP S4, HANA, GTS, BW/BPC, CUA, HR, Fiori)
• Proficient with SAP security administration tools, SAP authorization concept
• Several years working experience with IT SOX and/or Compliance/Audit activities related to SAP Security
• Demonstrated deep understanding of application-level security, at a functional and transaction level
• Excellent communication skills to align across multiple and global teams
• Proficient in complex planning scenarios and documentation
• Strong analytical skills and ability to problem solve and think strategically
• Fluent English
