Serves as the Digital Plant core applications manager for driving deployment and adoption needs across Celanese plants by consulting & supporting the end-users at the plant. This role is responsible to support deployment and drive adoption in Digital Manufacturing applications and help with Citizen development needs for analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with manufacturing digitization leaders to develop strategy, framework, standards and governance in support of Celanese's Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Review business process and functional requirements to optimize the solution architecture requirement, recommending potential options and developing the roadmap by collaborating and communicating with all required stakeholders
• Supports Digital Plants Citizen Development needs for insights utilizing tools like PowerBI, Grafana, Python in Jupyter Notebook etc.
• Need to lead the bugs, enhancements, new product feature priorities and support needs for all Digital Plant applications
• Need to be on point for the deployment and support of human-centric applications to manufacturing users
• Analyze current technology architecture used within the company and socialize ways to improve and optimize it
• Serve as technical lead proofs-of-concept efforts to determine value propositions. Lead  the technical design, development and validation work during projects.
• Serve as technical lead for digital plant projects including coordination of IT service implementation and support
• Integrate solutions with systems and third-party software, on prem or in the cloud.
• Work directly with internal customers and interface with support teams and partners to resolve problems.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Chemicals or Oil&Gas industry
• Experience in PowerBI, Grafana or other visualization tools
• Comfortable driving insights with Python in Jupyter Notebook
• Experience in driving insights for new Digital Products
• Comfortable learning and coming up to speed with new products
• Experience in Cognite Platforms would be a plus
• Knowledge and understanding of IT, OT, ET  systems, integration, connectivity and data management perspective.
• Practical experience in solution architecture, design and implementation
• Ability to translate business requirements into IT solutions
• Must develop and maintain strong external and internal networks to stay abreast of emerging technologies, methodologies and processes
• Ability to travel globally
• Must have strong planning skills
• Must have strong communication skills
