Responsibilities 职责:

  • Lead the product maintenance for GUR product line (Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, UHMWPE) that meet market needs in Asia region.
  • Work with manufacturing plant to maintain/improve product quality
  • Maintain and update product portfolio in SAP utilizing various internal processes
  • Lead execution of product transfer requests
  • Support root cause identification in quality issues that require tech input.
  • Support/deliver on productivity programs such as raw material qualification programs.
  • Approve and validate proposed manufacturing changes based on impact to product capability to meet customer commitments.
  • Ensure integrity of data in product data sheets, data base, provide product technical packages.
  • Support new product development activities through communication with customers on product requirements, communicate test results etc.
  • Participate in customer technical exchanges and establish deep customer relationships on technical level.

Qualifications 要求:

 

  • Deep understanding of polymers, manufacturing technology, analytical methods, data treatment, statistics
  • Ability to understand customer needs, especially regarding product quality
  • Ability to negotiate with customers about product quality
  • Ability to interface with global T&I team and engage resources to support development needs in Asia
  • Excellence in technical judgment when decisions must be made in the absence of complete data.
  • Ability to utilize data as a basis for rational decision making
  • Insightful technical risk assessment and mitigation
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Good communication, language and social skills.
  • Education:Mater degree, related to polymer science or PhD
