Textile Process Specialist

Location: Shanghai/Taiwan

• 10+ years of technical hands-on experience in textile industry, especially with fiber spinning and/or fabric knitting, preferably with elastic fiber.
• technical knowledge of production processes, equipment and materials for textile
• excellent interpersonal skills to connect with customers and partners
• comfortable in international cross-functional teams, ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with a global team.
• problem-solver and attention to detail
• can-do attitude
• fluent in English
• Ready to travel up to 50%

• collaborate across the value chain with spinning partners, knitting mills and garment designers
• Provide technical support throughout the qualification
• oversee product testing and assist spinners to improve and maintain high quality including diligent documentation
• develop training materials and conduct training sessions for customers, partners and colleagues
• identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact and improve sustainability
• take directions from GTM and NEOLAST™ Business Manager
• Location: Celanese Technical Center in Shanghai (China) or Taiwan
