Responsibilities 职责:

  • Manage the Technical activities in Japan
  • Take care resource planning, team and people development
  • Lead and drive the effective implementation of business and technical strategies
  • Core competency development in major application area like passive/auto..
  • Applies broad industry knowledge and commercial awareness to drive financial performance.
  • Contributes to the development of functional/operational long-term strate and develops annual plans to ensure execution and alignment.
  • Scope of work has impact not only the immediate work unit but also on the broader business unit or function.
  • Directs and advises others in solving complex, unique problems that have a broad impact on the business / function.
  • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of data and/or situation requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including current business orfunction trends.
  • Lead the team to support operations for significant technical issues

Qualifications 要求:

  • Education in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or Science with experience in Materials, Polymers, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines is required.
  • Requires complex judgment based on advanced analytical thinking
  • Requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions
  • Strong desire to grow the business through technical solution development to customers, with preference for those that have previous product development, technical service, application development, or other related experience.
  • Ability to quickly and independently learn about new materials, processes, markets, applications.  Ability to read and understand patents and technical literature to understand technical trends.
  • Strong communicator. Able to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and clearly articulate a technical value proposition and teach customers about solutions.  
  • Ability to extract understanding about technical problems and requirements from customers through a variety of interactions.  Able to coordinate collaborative workstreams with customers.
  • Self-motivated, passionate team player and result oriented.
  • Good teamwork, problem solving, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Language skill plus - English, Chinese, etc..
