1.The position is for an expert in engineering plastics, to conduct field sales and customer development within the defined territory.
2. This position will provide a key interface between the customers (molder/Tier) and company to develop Celanese's EM business in the covered region.
3. Work closely with business planning staff and local technical resources to grow the business with existing accounts.
4. Develop new customers in the region and to move customer programs from concept to commercialization.
5. Set clear goals and objectives including sales target for the covered territory.
6. Develop knowledge and insight of major competitive threats including competitor landscaping, market share analysis and competitive material’s attributes to specific applications.
7. Account Planning and Management:
• Primary point of contact for assigned customers.
• Creates account plans for all assigned customers.
• Responsible for execution of account plans and developing corrective action plans as needed to close gaps.
• General account management: customer visits, call reports, sampling, negotiations, customer service, etc.
8. Pipeline Development;
• Surface project ideas.
• Execute translation priorities.
• Request technical T&I resources for sales support.
• Introduce and sell new products to customers.
9. Value Capture.
• Gather volume/pricing/share intelligence.
• Maximize price realization to customer’s NBA.
• Take action on leakage management recommendations from product lines.
10. Responsible for creating/maintaining sales forecasts.
11. Maintains all SFDC data related to assigned accounts (Account plans, relationship maps, etc.).
1 BS or higher degree, Polymer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related majors are plus.
2 Good oral and written English
3 At least 6 years commercial working experience in plastic field. Knowledge of POM, PA, PBT, and, PPS, PPS will be a plus.
4 Experienced in new business development.
5 Demonstrated leadership/Supervisory skill in Project Management.
6 Ability to implement marketing plans, including multi-level interactions with customers and distributors.
7 Excellent oral and written communication skills.
8 Problem solving and results oriented.
9 Willing to business travel frequently.
