Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with site Quality Managers, T&I, and commercial teams to resolve quality issues and implement containment strategies.
• Support smaller sites and/or tollers in the standard day-to-day quality management task & lead efforts that are larger that the smaller sites are capable of.
• Lead/Initiate 2-3 quality improvement projects and initiatives for regional plants, boosting efficiency, reducing waste, and/or addressing process gaps.
• Assist site Quality Managers (QMs) in reducing manufacturing nonconformities.
• Conduct cross-functional learning interactions at the regional leadership level.
• Engage with Quality Improvement Team (QIT) meetings to identify improvement areas.
• Perform capability studies, statistical analyses, and Measurement System Analysis for process enhancement.
• Lead / Execute internal and customer audits, addressing audit findings effectively.
• Champion timely completion of quality notifications (QNs) with robust CAPA/8D processes, working towards reducing nonconformances and eliminating repeat issues.
• Support customer qualification requirements and audits

As Needed

• Support maintenance of global standards in alignment with ISO and IATF requirements.
• Prepare sites for external audits and certification processes.
• Implement Quality Management Systems and Techniques (QMST).
• Reduce block stock in plants and distribution centers.

• A bachelor's degree in a technical field (engineering or chemistry) is required.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Previous experience as a quality professional is preferred.  
• Proficient knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and IATF 16949 standards.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent conflict resolution skills and experience with diverse teams.
• Highly motivated with outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven planning, organizational, and time management capabilities.
• Positive attitude with a focus on targets and results.
• Effective interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving expertise.
• Preferred experience in Quality Engineering/Assurance in automotive molding.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis methods (FMEA, RCA, etc) and Lean/6-Sigma Certification is advantageous.
