• Responsible for improving the Reliability of Static Equipment by developing and implementing effective Reliability Strategies.
• Provide technical subject matter expertise for Static Equipment based on Engineering Codes, SEPs and RAGAGEPS.
• Identify and eliminate recurring problems and bad actors by analyzing failure patterns and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Improve the reliability of the units by implementing repair recommendations, material specification reviews, provide fit for service confirmation and meet discipline specific KPI.
• Provide troubleshooting services for rectifying problems impacting Safety, Quality, Reliability and Production.
• Provide technical guidance to site maintenance team performing field maintenance works during planned and unplanned outage and minimize the plant downtime.
• Recommend non-destructive testing methodologies to identify the inherent reliability problems and propose rectification actions to the maintenance team.
• Networks with peers at other sites and Global CTG to adopt the best practices for reliability improvement of fixed equipment.
• Review and grade RCA-C performed by technicians related to reliability and suggest action plan.
• Participate and Support the Site Safety, Quality and Reliability Programs.
• Liaise with OEMs and External Vendors for Reliability issues related to discipline and raise PRs.
• Analyze predictive and preventive maintenance reports as per PPM schedule and suggest actions to address recurring findings and issues.
• Roll out reliability and mechanical integrity programs driven by the global team.
• Prepare 5 years capital plan for reliability improvement projects for Fixed Equipment and execute the capital projects - project identification, vendor coordination, submit AR, effective execution and drive to meet all the CAPEX - KPIs.
• Responsible for capital and critical spares identification, preservation strategy and timely depreciation.
• Lead Reliability related RCA and Enablon/Cority investigations for discipline and close assigned action items effectively.
• Provide technical support for process safety studies like PHA related to discipline.
• Lead RCM and CERR program for Static Equipment based on criticality ranking and prepare action plan to address Bad Actors.
• Lead and support Turnaround jobs pertaining to Static Equipment and meet all the TA - KPIs.
• Review the Fixed Equipment related Standard Maintenance Procedures, MI Policy and RA for Static Equipment Reliability jobs.
• Support Global and Site Audits pertaining to Static Equipment and close assigned action items effectively.
• Mentor the maintenance and reliability team members in areas of technical expertise.
• Raise MOC for new projects and non-RIK modifications related to Reliability Improvement.
• Provide cost saving ideas and productivity projects for static equipment reliability improvement.
• Review warehouse inventory stock requirements for discipline related spares to ensure good equipment reliability is maintained.
• Support vendor BCQ/PQQ process as job contact to ensure safe work practice by contractors.
• Support the Maintenance and TA Team as and when business need arises.
• Responsible for the piping inspection program by ensuring timely inspections, analyzing the data and promptly implementing corrective actions.
