Responsibilities 职责:

INTRODUCTION

Engineered Materials　(Celanese group) is looking for an Injection Molding Engineer/Technician to execute injection molding trials and maintenance on injection molding machines & auxiliary equipment. This person is expected to work partially for Field Technical Support and Product Development Support.

 

ROLE DEFINITION

Operation of injection molding

 

The primary functions of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Set up, operate, and improve molding processes for numerous products on various hydraulic, electric and hybrid machines.
  • Perform mold changes and maintenance.
  • Perform some equipment modifications, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Summarize the results and report out to customers.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment that complies with all safety/health related policies and procedures.

 

Secondary responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Troubleshoot complex molding problems, with understanding of product and machinery technology.
  • Troubleshooting at customer sites.
  • Support and provide technical input to compounding operation.

Qualifications 要求:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience of injection molding operation or compounding operation.
  • Skills with computer data entry and applications such as Microsoft applications
  • Able to develop relationship with customers.
  • Able to work in a safe manner.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and commitment to teamwork
  • Fluency in Japanese, also an ability to read/write/oral communication in English.
  • Positive/Proactive attitude to develop skills required for personal development.
  • Acceptance of domestic travel reasonably.

 

Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering related filed.
  • National Certificate of Plastic Molding Engineer: 1st grade or above
  • Forklift driving certificate and experience.
  • Crane/Slinging operation certificate and experience.
  • Plastic assembly skills such as vibration welding and laser welding.
  • Scientific Molding Principles training and experience preferred.
  • PLC Integration, programming, and troubleshooting
