Senior Engineer, Application Development

The Celanese Microcircuit Materials Business (MCM) is focused on applying extensive electronic experience in thick film pastes to a broad set of material science challenges. Customers look to us to apply our extensive knowledge to create innovative, high-quality materials that will perform well no matter how demanding the application.

With our products, electrical designers can create or specify high performance printed electronic circuits and components on flexible, rigid and hybrid substrates including printable, stretchable, and moldable electronics. Ceramic circuitry can endure high temperatures and the most challenging environments.

Target markets and applications includes a wide range of industries like advanced package, automotive, consumer electronics, biotechnology, telecommunications, military, information technology and many other semiconductor materials.

• Develop new business opportunities in the AP region driven by mega trends in the Automotive industries (power module assembling, thermal management, battery management system, ADAS etc) and Consumer (Advanced package, Bio, Printed Electronics and new technology trends in semiconductor packaging eg)
• Coordinate AP region market development activities with cross functional teams to engage deeply with the eco system to understand trends, applications, and customer’s needs.
• Identify areas for growth, and work closely with Global Segment Leaders to align on strategic directions for investment
• Jointly develop product line roadmaps with global technology team and drive adoption of the new products that meet customer needs
• Work closely with technology teams to prioritize and deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources and improve the customer experience
• Initiate Sales Pipeline creating and lead NPD projects development for Consumer and Auto Seg in AP region.
• Engage and support the project management of new product development to ensure the deliverables of marketing and product elements at different stages
• Plan and organize promotional campaigns such as trade-shows, conference and industry association participations, etc.
• Network with peers across the industry and other BUs serving the same markets, to effectively support the regional business and drive mid-term growth
• Lead market intelligence communications process – collect and assimilate market information to enable accurate supply/demand planning
• Cultivate and drive the development of industry insights across the organization  

• Education background: Master or above in Engineering or Science.
• Direct customer interaction experience in the fields of thick film technology, consumer electronics, semiconductor Back-End of Line and power device preferred （電子&電子材料行業, 半導體或半導體封裝製程或材料, 或電子元件等相關經歷）
• Demonstrated good interpersonal skill & team player, strategic thinking and leadership potential
• > 5 years of experience in sales, marketing or business development related functions
• Good presentation and PC skills
• Fluent in English writing, reading and speaking
• Safety and business ethics - high consciousness is required
