Job Overview 综述:

• 8+ Years of SQL Server Database Administration. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Replication, Transact-SQL, and other related tools. • Strong proficiency in performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning. • Strong knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery concepts for high transaction systems. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, hardware platforms, storage systems, networking concepts, virtualization, etc. • Experience with database monitoring tools. • Experience with using SQL Server on Azure • Good written and verbal communication skills, both with team members and product stakeholders. • Strong time management skills.



Responsibilities 职责:

• Manage, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.

• Design and implement robust backup and recovery strategies, including regular testing of disaster recovery plans. • Monitor and analyze database performance, identify bottlenecks, and apply tuning strategies to enhance efficiency. • Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and installations with minimal downtime and risk. • Collaborate with development teams to optimize SQL queries, indexes, and stored procedures for application performance. • Ensure database security by managing roles, permissions, encryption, and compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. • Develop and maintain automated scripts for routine tasks, monitoring, and data manipulation using T-SQL and PowerShell. • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, providing timely support to resolve critical incidents. • Supporting SQL server in Azure environment as IAAS/SQL MI/PaaS services. • Managing Azure SQL databases, SQL Managed Instances, Azure VM in Azure Portal. • Coordinating with Cloud Operation teams on setting up Azure SQL configurations • Monitoring the health and performance of SQL Servers as well as home grown application using SQL server Native tools and several other third-party solutions. • Responsible for providing Estimates for New requirements and to work with customers to meet their Database needs.
