Job Overview 综述:

Celanese is looking for a highly skilled and proactive Power BI Developer (Advanced Specialist) to spearhead dashboard development, production support, and continuous improvement of existing Data Analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong Power BIand SQL skills, a basic understanding of ETL processes, and the ability to interact with business users for requirements gathering. This role also includes mentoring junior team members and ensuring operational excellence

Responsibilities 职责:

Dashboard Development & Enhancement

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Modify and enhance existing dashboards based on evolving business needs.
  • Apply advanced DAX formulas for calculated columns, measures, and KPIs.
  • Ensure visualizations are optimized for performance and usability.
  • Python – At least beginner-level proficiency, with exposure to:
    • Streamlit
    • Pandas
    • NumPy
    • Matplotlib

 

Production Support & Operations

  • Monitor and support BI solutions in production environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data accuracy, performance, and accessibility.
  • Implement change requests and ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

 

SQL & Data Handling

  • Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, and analysis through Power BI
  • Optimize queries for performance and scalability.
  • Work with CDF (Cognite Data Fusion), relational databases and data warehouses.

 

Stakeholder Interaction

  • Engage with business users to gather and analyse requirements and document them
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and help juniors to build dashboards
  • Provide demos and walkthroughs of dashboards to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with data engineering teams to ensure data availability and quality.

 

Team Leadership & Mentoring

  • Guide and mentor junior developers in Power BI best practices and development standards.
  • Conduct training sessions and code reviews to both users and juniors in the team.
  • Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.

Qualifications 要求:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Power BI development.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools and data pipeline concepts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in production support and change management.
  • Should be willing to learn Cognite Data Fusion and open to accept responsibilities

ETL & Data Pipeline Awareness

  • Understand and collaborate on ETL processes including data ingestion, cleansing, and transformation.
