Job Overview 综述:

The Director, HR Business Partner Greater China will lead and oversee the local HR Business Partners across Chain, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. This role is responsible for partnering with all business functions within the region to drive HR strategies that support business objectives, enhance organizational effectiveness, and foster a high-performance culture. The Director will provide strategic HR leadership while ensuring alignment with global HR initiatives, collaborating with functional HR Business Partners and HR Centers of Excellence.

Responsibilities 职责:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of local HR Business Partners in Chain, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, consistent and effective execution of the organization’s human resource strategy within established guidelines and budgets.
  • Liaison with functional HR Business Partners to deliver functional strategies to the Greater China workforce.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to ensure smooth implementation of global HR processes, including talent management, performance management, compensation planning, and payroll.
  • Partner with site management and leadership teams to proactively identify human capital and business needs.
  • In coordination with functional HR Business Partners, coach and support site leadership  to enhance leadership capabilities, foster a positive culture, and drive employee engagement.
  • Provide hands-on support for HR activities requiring in-person presence, such as employee relations, labor issues, disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring compliance and fair treatment.
  • Monitor and analyze key HR metrics (e.g., attrition, hiring) within Greater China and develop action plans in partnership with COEs and stakeholders to improve organizational outcomes.
  • Deliver comprehensive HR programs and initiatives aligned with business strategies, promoting high employee engagement and adherence to policies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and change agent, guiding leadership through organizational design, succession planning, talent management, industrial relations, M&A projects, and productivity improvements.
  • Identify and coordinate necessary HR services at the country level, ensuring effective service delivery and providing feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Establish objectives and manage cost controls within the HR function to optimize resource utilization.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives such as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and Diversity & Inclusion programs.

Qualifications 要求:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Over 10 years of experience in HR business partnering, including at least 5 years in leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of leading HR teams in Greater China.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with strong written and verbal proficiency in both English and Chinese.
  • Strategic thinker capable of driving business results through effective HR initiatives.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multicultural environments, demonstrating flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to manage ambiguity.
  • Experienced in facilitating and managing organizational change, implementing HR programs and policies successfully.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and service orientation skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships at all organizational levels.
