Job Overview 综述:

The Raw Materials coordinator is responsible for raw and packaging materials availability planning. This role will work closely with Master Production Planner, Production Schedulers, Procurement and Warehouse teams to ensure materials are available for production to meet customer demands while optimizing inventory levels and costs. RM planner is focusing on long term plan, RM coordinator is focusing on short term execution.

Responsibilities 职责:

Plan and ensure timely availability of raw and packaging materials for production to meet customer demand in short term
Create purchase requisitions for raw / packaging materials, tolled / sub – contract materials and other consumables
Coordinate with, master production planner, Regional Planner, and procurement to determine feasibility of spot buying alternate materials and raise purchase requisitions for spot buying
Coordinate with MPS (Manufacturing focal point)  to maintain BOM and alternate raw materials to reduce inventory discrepancy
Coordinate with master production planner, production scheduler and procurement to mitigate any short-term shortages and improve vendor delivery performance
Analyze forecasts, lead times, safety stock, inventory discrepancy and other material master data as needed for assigned raw and packaging materials
Track and analyze Consumption patterns and purchasing trends to optimize inventory levels and costs associated
Manage inventory issues / requirements generated due to schedule changes, cancellations, rush orders

Qualifications 要求:

In depth experience and expertise with SAP system

Rich knowledge of planning process, understand supply/ production/raw material planning, Especially be familiar with MRP.

Knowledge of materials management.

Good skills on Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint; Power BI is preferred.

Good skills on English written and oral communication.

Bachelor’s degree, Experience on 3~5 years on supply chain, planning, logistics, procurement.

Teamwork player.
