This position primarily involves coordinating exports from Asia (CN/JP/KR), including but not limited to vessel booking, shipping arrangements, document processing, customer complain coordination, vendor cost verification and settlement, supplier management, project support etc.
• Arrange export/import shipments booking and tracking
• Manage and cooperate with freight forwarders/agents to ensure customs release in time and on time delivery to customer for ocean liner, air and international express shipments
• Prepare correlative documents for customs release
• Work with internal /external functions to coordinate any import/export related issues. Timely escalation to team leads and internal related functions when unexpected issues occurred. Meantime be capable to manage exceptions and emergency situations.
• Be capable to track the KPI, make the root cause analysis and work out corrective and preventative action plans for those falling outside of the allowable tolerances
• Process freight invoice and solve invoice discrepancy
• Freight forwarder/agents management
• Ensure adherence to all SOP’s and controls related to Safety and Compliance
• 1-2 year Experience in export & import operations
• Basic knowledge of international trading and logistics best practices
• Familiar with the process and procedures of international trade, Chemical products related dangerous goods related policies, and local codes of customs clearance, etc.
• Be a good team player, be capable to work closely with the counter partners in the other regions. Willingness to work closely with your counterparts in other regions.
• Strong coordinating skills
• Good written and oral English skills (CET6)
• Good written and oral English skills (N1 is necessary)
• SAP and CTM experience are preferred
