Summary Primarily responsible for developing plan/projects and/or services to and exploring relationships with new/existing accounts. Works independently within an assigned market segment, territory or customer base. Manages all aspects of the developing process. Key Accountabilities
*Manage Key AUTO customers (OEMs, T1s) for Engineering Plastic and Performance Materials.
*Develop segment strategy and plan that ensure attainment of goals and profitability.
*Manage project from initial stage to commercialization.
*Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate target markets and create pipeline opportunities.
*Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
*Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
*Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
*Report to the manager in a timely manner.
*Build strong customer relationships, get trust by customers, identify new business opportunities at target accounts, and drive application development.
Activities for job
*Develop segment strategy and plan, execution for own responsible area.
*Visit customers to promote our products leading Business Unit, Application Development and Marketing to create pipelines and follow up projects/complaint cases. Set up lead meetings for own projects.
*Attend commercial meeting.
*Manage internal system for pipeline. forecast. pricing etc.
*Share necessary business information with other functions appropriately/timely.
*Several years sales/development and related experience in the automotive, chemical industry.
*Diploma/Degree in any discipline.
*Demonstrated ability to lead developments with customers.
*Able to work independently and as part of a team.
*Fluency in Japanese, also an ability to read/write/oral communication in English.
*Positive/Proactive Attitude-Achiever, Self-motivated, persistent in following up and willingness to develop skills required for personal development.
*Customer focus with ability to understand customer needs and issue.
*Financial acumen to understand the consequence of pricing actions.
