Responsibilities

1. Advance Specialist is responsible for developing new and supporting existing SAP MII applications for Celanese manufacturing plants across the globe. Celanese’ MII environment contains a mixture of highly customized web-based manufacturing applications, less mission-critical dashboards and reports, and middleware tools used for systems integration.
2. Create new and support existing MII application code including transactions, UI components, SQL queries and stored procedures. 
3. Ability to translate functional requirements and/or technical specifications into functional IT solutions.
4. Collaborate with manufacturing subject matter experts and IT business relationship managers to develop functional and technical specifications for new MII-based development.
5. Able to track problems and support issues through resolution.
6. Design, configuration and testing of interfaces.
7. Support users in problem and incident management.

Must Have skills:

• 5+ years of experience in SAP MII Development and supporting application.
• Fluent in both MII transactional business logic and UI design and development. 
• Familiar with SAP PCo.
• Understanding of SAP UI5.
• JavaScript and 3rd party libraries, CSS, XSLT, JSON, HTML5.

Good To have:

• Coding and development experience in React and Python.
• Familiar with industrial control systems and time series data
• The use of MII as a web application platform, including barcode label printing and scanning.
• Prior knowledge of manufacturing control systems with an understanding of the OPC protocol.
• Ability to create dynamic PDF documents using Adobe Document Services.
• Prior experience with using MII as an integration platform between SCADA or MES systems, SAP (PP, QM, PM) and other systems.
• Developing and supporting custom reports using SQL Server Report Builder.
• Familiar with segmented, secured industrial and business networks.
