Advanced Account Representative

Drive profitable business growth through strategic account management, expansion of existing business, and development of new opportunities across Celanese's Performance Segments: Electrical & Electronics (E&E), Industrial, Consumer, and Medical.

This role offers the opportunity to work with a market-leading portfolio of specialty materials, including PA, PPA, LCP, PET, PBT, UHMW-PE, and Thermoplastic Elastomers, while engaging directly with customers developing next-generation technologies in electrification, connectivity, healthcare, and sustainable solutions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Manage key customers and channel partners (Shosha) for Engineering Plastics and Performance Materials. 
• Develop and execute account strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets. 
• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities and application developments. 
• Build trusted relationships with customers, design engineers, OEMs, and key decision makers. 
• Drive specification wins and market penetration within target segments. 
• Collaborate with Business Units, Application Development, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams. 
• Manage pricing, profitability, forecasts, and business performance. 
• Provide accurate reports, forecasts, and market intelligence. 

ACTIVITIES for JOB

• Develop and execute account plans and growth strategies. 
• Visit customers regularly and promote Celanese solutions. 
• Lead project reviews and coordinate cross-functional activities. 
• Manage opportunities, forecasts, and pricing through Salesforce. 
• Participate in business planning and sales reviews. 
• Communicate customer insights and market trends internally. 

• Several years of B2B sales experience in electronics, electrical, industrial, materials, chemical, semiconductor, automotive, or related industries. 
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 
• Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and grow business opportunities. 
• Fluent Japanese and business-level English communication skills. 
• Strong commercial mindset and customer focus. 
• Ability to work independently and in a multicultural environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce (or similar CRM). 
• Willingness to travel domestically.
