Overview 综述:

Manages local division and site supports aligned with the larger xCE team and priorities:

  • Prioritizes and ensures completion of analysis for local business demand
  • Appreciate the importance of customer and stakeholder value
  • Engages global testing organization to leverage skills and efficiency for CE
  • Proactive justified capital need assessment
  • Strong processes and systems for good lab management (workload and cycle assessments)
  • Local cost center ownership and accountability
  • Safety and Quality system stewardship

Responsibilities 职责:

  • Ownership and accountability for lab support delivery
  • People/team/talent development
  • Ownership and accountability for safety performance of the team
  • Ownership and accountability for any lab related quality system
  • Assures support on prioritized work following global process.
  • Successfully lead complex cross lab/division projects.
  • Strategic project ownership – often utilizing key statistics/six sigma applied tools (DOE, FMEA, LEAN, DFSS).
  • Development and utilization of clear demand and response tools enabling the value of the team to be evident and continual improvement efforts realized.
  • Compilation of meaningful lab metrics accurately and timely
  • Translate local market needs into local lab capability needs, prepare proposals and implement.
  • Development of continuous improvement of lab in terms of resources, equipment, & expertise.
  • Proactive engagement and leveraging across the CE Global lab function for efficiency and support across CE divisions.
  • Drives productivity and cost to support goals and ensures cost center budget goal delivery

  • Ability to successfully lead a team of resources in support of CE wide lab needs, with a focus on local division/site needs
  • Creativity and Continual improvement mindset –adapting to changing business needs, has courage to lean in and focus
